At mejo, LLC (with our affiliates, subsidiaries and related entities, collectively, “Mejo” “we,” “us” or “our”), in order to provide our products and services to you, we must collect, use and share Personal Information about you. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) outlines which information we collect when you access and use our website, mobile applications, products, and services (inclusively, our “Online Services”), how and why Personal Information is collected, how we protect and use it, and when and with whom we share it. This Privacy Policy also outlines what choices you can make about how we collect, use and share your Personal Information. This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect about you in any physical locations, through our call center, when you otherwise communicate with us, and when you use our Online Services.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third parties or any websites that might be linked to our Online Services, including websites and social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Google, YouTube, Snapchat, Tiktok or Pinterest (“Linked Sites”). We are not responsible for the privacy practices, policies, or content of any Linked Sites, even if you link to them from our Online Services or communications. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any Linked Sites. We have no control over the collection or use of information, including Personal Information, on any Linked Site. We encourage you to read and understand the privacy practices of any Linked Sites that you visit.

Our Online Services are for United States Users

Mejo’s website is hosted in the United States and our Online Services are intended only for and is only available to residents of the United States. If you are a resident of another country, by providing your information, including any Personal Information, you are permitting the transfer of your information, including any Personal Information, to the United States, which may not provide the same protections to your Personal Information as the data protection laws of the country in which you reside. The use of your Personal Information will be in accordance with this Privacy Policy and not that of your resident country.

Children's Privacy Policy

Our Online Services are not intended to be used by persons under 18 years of age. If you are under 18, do not use or provide any information to our Online Services or through any of its features, or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, email address, or any screen name or username you may use.

If you are a parent or guardian of an unemancipated minor, you may use the Online Services to enter information including Personal Information on behalf of such minor in compliance with those legal rights and this Privacy Policy. What Information We Collect

Mejo collects your user name, email address and telephone number from you directly, and free form fields present in the Online Services allow you to input information of your own choosing, which may include but is not limited to date of birth, present age, gender, blood type, height, weight, medical diagnoses, medical conditions, medications, medical devices, medical support needs, medical care history including surgery and doctor visit information, therapies, diet, immunizations, emergency contacts, medical care personnel, school or caregiver information including contact information, insurance providers, and other information (inclusively “Personal Information”).

How We Collect Information

We collect information including Personal Information that you provide directly to us when you apply for access of our Online Services, and when you use our Online Services. We do not collect information including Personal Information about you from third parties or from technology tracking tools. Consistent with our Terms of Use, we may use any information you post to these public venues for mejo’s commercial marketing purposes.

Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies. As you navigate through and interact with our Online Services, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including:

  • Details of your visits to our Online Services, including traffic data, location data, chat logs, andother communication data and the resources that you access and use on the Online Services.
  • Information about your computer and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system, and browser type.
  • Information generated while you are using the Online Services, including when, how often and under what circumstances you use the Online Services.

We also may use these technologies to collect information about your online activities over time.

Mejo does not trade, rent, sell, loan, lease, use for secondary or unrelated purposes or share with any third party any personal information it collects without your consent. We requested your consent when you signed up for the Online Services. Mejo uses information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including your Personal Information to provide the Online Services or to help personalize our services and marketing to you. We also use Personal Information to support our business functions, such as fraud prevention and complying with legal obligations. Some examples include:

  • To fulfill or meet the reason you provided the information. For example, if you share your name and contact information to ask a question about our products or services, we will use that personal information to respond to your inquiry. If you provide your Personal Information to purchase a product or service, we will use that information to process your payment and facilitate delivery. We may also save your information to facilitate new product orders or process returns.
  • To provide, support, personalize, and develop our Online Services.

Surveys, Feedback, Informational Programs.  From time to time you may receive survey requests through emails or displays within our Online Services that request feedback on a variety of topics. If you choose to engage with or use one of these requests, you may be asked to provide information that may be used to supplement information that you submitted to our Online Services, and which may be used for the above purposes including marketing purposes.

How We Share Your Personal Information

Mejo shares and discloses your Personal Information, under the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We may share your Personal Information with service providers that help with our business activities, including development, maintenance, and support of our Online Services, marketing research and analysis, communications, and customer service. We require our business partners and service providers to keep your Personal Information secure.
  • Legal Requirements and Protection: We may share your Personal Information in special circumstances or when we believe sharing will help to protect the safety, security, property or rights of Mejo, our third party business partners and service providers, our customers, our employees or other persons, including:
    • to comply with law, a court order, or other legal process, or in connection with a legal investigation or a request for cooperation by a government entity
    • to protect against fraud or for other risk management purposes
    • to enforce our Terms of Use and any other applicable terms, conditions and other agreements
  • Business Transfers: We may share your Personal Information in connection with a corporate transaction (such as a merger, financing, acquisition or dissolution) or proceeding involving the sale, transfer, divestiture, or disclosure of all or a portion of Mejo’s business or assets.     1. You may choose to electronically share Personal Information with others, which may include but not be limited to caregivers or support personnel. By your act of sharing, or if you provide that other your account credentials, the shared party may be able to view all of your information including Personal Information, and they may have the same level of access to your information including Personal Information that you do.
    2. You may choose to share some or all of the Personal Information that you have provided to our Online Services by printing out reports.
    We remind you that if you share, or authorize that Personal Information entered into our Online Services be shared, any such sharing is at your own risk. We cannot and do not control the safety, security, or privacy of information including Personal Information that you share, or authorize to be shared, with others.

Some content or applications, including advertisements, on the Online Services are served by third parties, which may include advertisers, ad networks and servers, and application providers. These third parties may use tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use our Online Services. The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or they may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services. How Your Data Is Protected

We seek to keep your Personal Information secure and implement reasonable safeguards to help us protect such information from unauthorized access, use, and disclosure. We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information collected via the Online Services and encrypt all data in motion and at rest. We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers behind firewalls.

We process all credit card payments through third party payment processors. We do not collect, store or retain credit card information or related data used to authenticate you.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Online Services, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet, including to and from our Online Services, is not completely secure. No method of electronically transmitting or storing data is ever completely secure ,and therefore, we cannot guarantee that your Personal Information will never be accessed, used, or disclosed in a manner that is inconsistent with this Privacy Policy. Any transmission of Personal Information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Online Services. No security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the security of our Online Services, nor that the information you supply including any Personal Information will not be intercepted while being transmitted over the internet from or to our Online Services. “Phishing” is a scam designed to steal your Personal Information. What Are Your Choices

Marketing Preferences.  We use an opt-out standard for email. Opt-out means we may contact you but will stop upon your request (as described herein). If you contact us by email or mail, please be sure to include your full name, the types of communications you would like to receive or not receive, and your related contact information. For instance, if you would like to opt-out of email, include your email address. Please allow sufficient time for your marketing preferences to be processed. It may take up to ten days to process your requests related to email and up to 30 days to process your requests related to sharing information with your consent. Since we do not accept opt-out requests from third parties, such as catalog opt-out services, please communicate your request directly to us through one of the mechanisms mentioned above. Please know that, even if you opted out of receiving marketing communications from us, we may still contact you for transactional or informational purposes.

How To Access And Update Your Personal Information.  We provide you with the opportunity to update and/or delete certain Personal Information and to opt-out of having your Personal Information used or disclosed for certain purposes. For example, you may:

Privacy Rights For California Residents

If you are a California resident, you can make certain requests regarding your Personal Information. We will fulfill each of these requests to the extent required by law.

You Can Ask Us To Delete Your Personal Information. You have the right to ask that we delete your Personal Information. Once we receive a request, we will delete the Personal Information in our possession (to the extent required by law) we hold about you as of the date of your request from our records and direct any service providers to do the same. In some cases, deletion may be accomplished through de-identification of the information. If you choose to delete your Personal Information, you may not be able to use certain website or in-store functions that require your Personal Information to operate. 

You Can Ask That We Stop Selling Your Personal Information. You have the right to direct us not to sell personal information we have collected about you to third parties now or in the future.
